![]() 3DVH is a next generation analysis system designed for the clinician who requires an easy to use, all-in-one system for dose to patient QA. 3DVH can use existing IMRT or rotational delivery measurements (e.g. MapCHECK™ or ArcCHECK™) to perform 3D patient dose and DVH QA, effectively eliminating dose-to-phantom guesswork. July 2010 - 3DVH-The Future of Patient QA
At this years 2010 AAPM meeting in Philadelphia, Sun Nuclear users learned of the many benefits 3DVH can add to their QA outcomes. Specifically, 3DVH advances QA beyond planar comparisons, and into 3D dose and DVH comparisons to assess the clinical impact of all measured errors.Using conventional QA measurement devices, (e.g. MapCHECK, MapCHECK 2, EPIDose or ArcCHECK) and patient data from the treatment planning system, 3DVH accurately predicts the impact on patient dose and DVH. 3DVH processes the data from a phantom-based geometry and translates to a heterogeneous patient dose-based geometry using a patent pending algorithm called "Planned Dose Perturbation" (PDP™).
