Sun Nuclear announces the second QA & Dosimetry Symposium for February 20-21st, 2009 at the Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World. Expect the latest on the newest modalities and techniques. More will be released soon.

The first QA & Dosimetry Symposium was held May 16-17 2008, in Orlando Florida. The symposium was a big success and Sun Nuclear is planning on hosting a second symposium in early 2009. Plans are underway and details will be released shortly...
April 2008 - MotionSim XY4D™ is released
The new MotionSim XY/4D tables are expected to be available for shipment in late March. The MotionSIM XY4D is an advanced hardware and software upgrade option for all MapCHECK™ users, as well as other products needing lifelike 4D and Gating. The hardware component is a motorized table that moves the MapCHECK in the X and Y planes with sub-millimeter accuracy and is capable of increasing MapCHECK data density and total field size. Combined with specialized 4D software, the MotionSIM XY4D can study the impact of Beams Eye View (BEV) tumor trajectories on the MapCHECK array during measurement.March 2008 - MapPHAN for Rotational Dosimetry is released
MapPHAN™ is a homogenous water equivalent phantom which holds MapCHECK at isocenter for rotational deliveries. MapPHAN supports both coronal and sagittal measurements. The MapPHAN is equivalent in application to the IBA Multicube and PTW Octavius phantoms which are also designed for rotational/helical dosimetry. MapPHAN is available at depths of 5cm, 10cm and 15cm.
